Svitlana Goncharova (MFA) is a Ukrainian-Canadian watercolor artist based in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. Having earned her Fine Arts degree in Kyiv and raised her children into adulthood, she is now joyfully pouring her full energy into expanding her artistic career. Specializing in Watercolor Impressionism, Svitlana uses vibrant, light-filled colors as a personal manifesto of resilience and hope. As a Ukrainian, her joyful approach to painting is her way of navigating life's challenges and celebrating the beauty of every moment—an uplifting emotional energy she deeply desires to pass on through her canvases.

Captivated by the rugged nature and landscapes of Maritime Canada, Svitlana travels extensively across New Brunswick to paint en plein air, building a rich collection of works dedicated to her home province. Beyond her studio practice, she is a passionate instructor who loves sharing her devotion to watercolor with others. In her classes, she creates a warm, encouraging space where students learn to paint with pure freedom, confidence, and joy—reminding everyone that art is a celebration to be enjoyed without fear.
