Patricia Trecartin was born in Brazil, but moved to Saint John at an early age. Patricia has been painting since the late eighties. She has studied under well-known Maritime artists Fred Ross and Herzl Kashetskey. Patricia first began showing and selling miniature oils at Klausen Custom Framing in 1991. She now paints, not only miniatures, but precisely executed still life and landscapes. She and her husband live in Lower Kars. The inspiration for many of her landscapes she attributes to the beauty and serenity of Belleisle Bay. Her mediums are watercolour, oil, oil pastel and pastel.
