William Cummings was born in Greenock, Scotland. He currently lives and practices as a woodcrafter in Rothesay, NB. He worked at Saint John Shipbuilding and also worked and taught at a shipyard in Mobile, Alabama. He has worked in Panama City, Tampa, Toledo and in the Bahamas.
