These are the old smokehouses of Grand Manan—weathered, worn, and full of stories. There's something about how they sit right at the edge of land and sea, red shutters catching the light, with lobster traps scattered around like they've always belonged there. It's a working kind of beauty—nothing fancy, just real and rooted in place.This spot really spoke to me. The soft mist rolling in off the water, the history built into the boards, the way it all feels like it's holding onto tradition without needing to shout about it—that's what I wanted to capture
